I am trying to sell my old blackberry 8320 on craigslist but I can't seem to delete my Myfaves contact numbers, I tried reseting the phone and taking out the extra memory stick but they are still there, anyone know how to fix this?

The MyFaves icons can be deleted with CrackMem.

To remove the MyFaves app you need to do the following:

    1. Have the exact OS on your BB installed in windows.

    2. In Windows Explorer, browse to the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\*OS Name*\Java, where OS Name is the folder for the OS on your BB.

    3. Create a folder called Removed (or what ever you want to call it). A good place to create the folder is under the ...\Loader Files folder.

    4. Look for a file named net rim tmo five.cod

    5. Cut this file and paste to the Removed folder created in step 3.

    6. Connect your BB to your PC and start DM.

    7. Click on App Loader and then click next.

    8. DM should have message saying Applications to be removed: MyFaves.

    9. Complete the App Loader process to remove MyFaves.

In theory if I did this above procedure backwards, could/would I be adding the MyFaves feature into 5.0 (currently running it on my 8900)?

I done the above steps and it worked. Just remove the file: net rim tmo five.cod from the folder. I put it on my desktop temporarily. Then install the software onto your phone. That's what I done and it worked. I no longer have the myfaves app. Thanks WNM.

I don't want to get rid of the my fav application, I just want to get rid of some of the icons I have no use for. Is there anyway of doing this without deleting the whole application?

Hide the icons, or make a folder for all your unused icons and move your icons in the folder and hide it if you want.
