darn. I was hoping the boost 8330 would be the 8330m. I want some hope that 5.0 is coming to the 8330m. Every other BB has at least a leaked version of 5.0 except for the 8330m. Come on Sprint, give me some hope.

Even if it doesn't have the Precision theme, they've already figured out how to get the 85XX precision theme running on the 8330 running 5.0 since the .230 leaked OS was released.

Im gonna be picking up the boost mobile 8330 soon , can you tell me where i can get my hands on the theme ? Its gonna be my first blackberry and im kinda new to everything...

Looks like you gained some memory. Did you shrink your OS like Xliderider suggested?

No, the only thing that I have done since I got the phone was to put in my contacts and I downloaded Opera Mini. Then I did the update from the Blackberry Desktop Manager. Thats It.

Please remember I have very little experience with "smart Phones". This is my first. I am learning quickly but some phone terminology is still a bit foreign to me. I have been around mobile phones since about 1991 where my first phone was a Motorola Brick Phone. But all I have ever really cared about was basic communication. I am really enjoying the extra connectivity and tools/apps available. Kind of a new toy to me.

You can't shrink the OS until its released as a downloadable file. Right now DM is downloading the update for you.

Does DM download it to a foilder on the hard drive? If so, one with boost can downgrade to 4.5, plug into DM, and the save and upload the newly downloaded 5.0. Don't think its possible though.

Boost dealers are being limited on how many they can get...the going number is right around 5 per shipment.

I, fortunately, have an in with a Boost dealer so I get to play with them =)

I think this is some bull**** how the BOOST 8330 can have 5.0 wat the ****!! Why do I have to have this ****ty *** 8330m and why don't they release it for us!! The only reason I want to upgrade to the tour 2 is to get the 5.0 but if we are capable of having it why don't we have it WTF!!! I still will be upgrading tho.. :-p I hear the tour 2 has 2gb of phone mem on board and that's without the memory card!! Sorry for the outburst had to vent!! :-)
