Default Blackberry 8330 question

Hi all first poster here and have a couple of questions.

I got my new 8330 curve last night (I had a 7100I before this one) when I transferred all my old numbers to the new phone using the desktop software I lost a couple of things. The Sprint t.v. icon is gone and the e-mail settings icon is gone. I think that is all that is missing I am not really sure like I said I just got it. How do I get them back?

Also, I had to setup a new sprint.blackberry.net e-mail for my new phone. Now I have 2 sprint.blackberry.net icons, 1 for the old phone and one for the new one. Only now I am only receiving for the new phone. My question is do I need to change all my e-mail notifications to the new address or does it automatically forward to the new one?

Hope these questions aren't to confusing, and thanks in advance. Travis

As for the icons they are probably hidden.. Its simple to fix this when u go on ur bb hit the menu button then wen ur in ur menu hit it again and u can select un hide or something like this and they re appear. And for ur email have u clicked the email setup u might have to jus varify. Not sure tho.. Hope I helped

As for Sprint Application, you can try a resend your service books. Oprions>advanced options>host routing table>register now.

As for the email. sound like you created a new BIS account for the new phone. Once you have a BIS account, you just need to login and do a chage device there. this will send new service books and route the email to the new device.

At this point I would call your carrier have them check for 2 BIS accounts and delete one and change the info in the other. You should be good to go.

Press the escape key until you are back at your home screen. Then press Menu twice. Tell us what is on the pop-up menu.

You seem to have two problems, which may be related. Do you have any folders on your Home Screen? If you do, it's possible you dropped your Options icon into one of the folders. Look in them and see.

As for losing your Show All menu item, I've never seen nor neard of that. Since a battery pull didn't fix it, I'm a bit at a loss. Do you have any items hidden? It's possible that Show All is only a menu item when you actually have something hidden.

Thanks Jeff. To be honest, I am not sure how to look into a folder. I have on my home screen 6 icons. When I highlight to view options, it just takes me to all applications. When I click to open, it just takes me into the folder, however, I don't know how to find another icon if it is there.

If I have any items hidden, I am not aware. Just had the phone a couple of days, and had successfully moved one icon with no problem.........then this. I appreciate your efforts.

Select each folder on your desktop, click open, and see if the folder contains your Options icon. It will be obvious if it is there.

Wow, I see it in my entertainment folder on the applications screen. I didn't think I even went there!! When I hightlight the Options icon and click on menu I only see the options to Move or Switch Application. Not sure what to do. Obviously, I want it out of that folder. Thank you.

Okay, I got it out and back to the main Applications page. I suppose my only other issue at this time, is where is the "Select All" option in the menu and why are the options different for each icon?? Thank you so much.
