Default 8320 Os 4.5.0.75

didn't even know this existed (thought the latest was .69), until doing some searching around on my carrier downloads site and found this upgrade:

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.75 (Multilanguage)

sooo, uh... this will be on as soon as it is finished downloading, and will give some reviews on how its running as i play with it some.

Well your carrier will say to use their own official release but a true BB addict would probably stick with .69 since .52 is a downgrade.

Nice to see more addicts! Just if you ever need to send your BB back for any reason, just load your carrier approved OS first.

A couple of things it could be but not sure. Try a battery pull or it could be in your APN settings. For your carrier, I'm not sure what they need to be. I know this issue has come up several time on CB so you can try to do a search and see what results others had.

HELP!!!!
I had to send my BB 8320 from TMO back for warranty purposes (stopped vibrating). I have downloaded the 4.5.0.75 device software, but everytime I try to install it, the only thing that happens is that it asks to repair or remove device software 4.5.0 from my comp. Any word on what is going on and why it doesn't allow me to upgrade? Even the bb website that offers the 4.5.0.52 upgrade says I have the latest and greatest. I did have V4.5.0.52 B4 I sent it in and downgraded to 4.2. Installing v4.5 the first time was easy to install. Same file doesn't work anymore. I have v4.2. What do I do???

try deleting then reinstalling 4.5.0.xx and then dont forget to delete the vendor.xml file... if u dont delete that then it wont let u upgrade anything.. hope that helps.. if not then im out of ideas lol.. u could do a battery pull lol.. jk

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!
The reason it wouldnt work was that I was looking for the Vendor.xml file in the program files. It wasn't there. The only thing there was the Program files for the desktop manager. I pulled an all nighter gave up around 6am when daylight hit so I decided it was time to stop. I then woke up again around 12 pm today and had an epiphany. I realized I was looking at the wrong files, so I checked the C drive, then Common Files instead of Program Files, and walla, THERE IT WAS Research in Motion/Blackberrry/Apploader/vendor.xml. Perseverance pays off guys. SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

One more Q. Which is better? .75 or .52

I just did the the 4.5.0.81 upgrade on my 8310 using Desktop Manager 4.6 and the Vodaphone Australia 4.5.0.81 package.

No problemos, took maybe 30 minutes and it worked like a charm. Almost everything was just the way it was with my themes and applications.

After that I helped a friend upgrade her 8320. Again it worked like a charm.

No issues with 4.5.0.81 to report as of yet.
