Default Users emails deleted on device and reactivated on its own.

I had a problem recently that has confused me and haven't been able to find the cause. The user had all their email on their device deleted (still in the mail file) and they received the activation email again. I have searched through the domino logs for the BES server and havn't been able to find any rhyme or reason for this. His blackberry has been working since but I am more concerned about it re-occuring.

What confuses me is even if their blackberry got re-activated on its own some how it doesn't explain why all their emails would suddenly disappear. Any ideas on what might of caused this?

I have seen it delete emails before when it was low on memory. Although it never would delete them all nor would it cause the bb to re-activate. I do have a feeling that might of been part of the cause though
