We are using Bes 4.1.3 with Exchange 2003. Phone system is Mitel and voicemails are coming into Outlook as IMAP but won't forward to BB. Does anyone know of a fix? Thanks

    Welcome to CrackBerry.com!

What format are the voicemails in? I wonder if that makes a difference, maybe they should be in .mp3 format...

The voicemail is in WAV format but the email's are being sent to Outlook in IMAP format and won't forward to our BB's. If I forward the voice mail manually back to myself it changes the format to smtp and the email will foward to my BB and I can listen to it. I called RIM support and was just told that some unified messaging works and some doesn't with BES server's.

Mitel is aware of the issue with using both Imap and SMTP addresses user accounts. An update is now available for the server software.

Hi there, I am looking for a fix/update to enable voicemails to appear on Blackberries pearls (BB server 4.1.2.25). We currently run Mitel 6510 v2 for which automatically populates voicemail into users' Outlook 2003, automatically bypassing Exchange therefore the voicemails will not appear on the Blackberry - IMAP - SMTP issue. - you left a message on Blackberryforums.com stating Mitel have a fix, but via my supplier they are un-aware

Any help or pointers are appreciated

Same thing here. We are using Mitel and seeing the same results. We would love to offer office voicemail to BB users on the go, Why is this so hard?

In reading through the PDF did you have to pickup an additonal IMAP TSE licence or were you able to just put the bes: in front of your exchange server for all you users if only some were blackberry and some weren't

we currently only have 1 TSE licence and have some users that are unified and i would like to try this but don't want to break there current implementation.

    Thanks

We have Two exchange servers and I have added/removed the "bes" prefix to both on the fly - it does require some services restarts I believe. I have not seen any issues with non-BB users that reside on a "bes" disignated server.

Within the past 6 months we replaced Mitel with Cisco VOIP solution and with Cisco nothing to configure to get VM's on your BB.
