Default Can't sync 8830

Purchased BES Server software along with 4 new 8330 devices. After installing BES Server ver4.1.4.17, I started to sync devices. The first device I tried I failed to sync the old device first (8830) to the BES server so that all info in the device (8830) and the individuals MS Outlook synchronized with the BES Server.

Instead I immediately had the ESN number of the old device (8830) changed to the new device (8330) and installed e-mail address and password and did an Enterprise Activation. Needless to say none of the information that was stored in his old device (8830) transferred to the new device.

After discovering this, the other three devices (8830) I Enterprise Activated them before changing the ESN number over to the new devices (8330) so that all info on the old devices along with their MS Outlook info synchronized with the BES Server. Once this was done I had the ESN number of the old devices changed to the new devices and did the Enterprise Activation again. All of these devices worked fine.

The problem is with the original device I sync with the BES Server. I tried switching the ESN back from the (8330) to the original (8830) and tried to re-sync with the BES Server through Enterprise Activation. Once I start this process the device does about a 90% completion of all process but seems to hang when synchronizing with the address book.

Any suggestions? This original device had all of his info stored on the phone and not in MS Outlook. I do have backups of the device through the BB Device Manager on his client machine but can not get them to load on his new device through BB Device Manager.

What about using the Device Switch Wizard to get the info over to the 8330, then activate it to the server?
