Is anyone running OS 4.5 on a tmobile 8100 successfully? I have a twitter friend that loaded 4.5 (.162 I think) on their 8100 and her browser and BBM apps disappeared. Also her camera stopped working.

I walked her through re-registering the handset and resending the service books, but that did not seem to help. She called tmobile and they had her downgrade back to 4.2 (because "4.5 is not supported"), which fixed the problem.

What does she need to do to successfully run 4.5 successfully?

Should be no reason in the world for 4.5.0.162 to not work on her phone. Are you sure it was installed properly?

No. Cannot verify that it was loaded properly, her husband did it. I'll tell them to try it again if there are no know issues that match up with what she was seeing.

None, except for the "My Favs" possibly not working right. Could plug in the files for it instead of using their website. Each one is sketchy, but would not cause an error.
