Default Need help with external audio for Pandora

I just upgraded the OS on my 8110 to 4.5 so I could use Pandora. I figured that listening to Internet Radio in the car was better than subscribing to XM or Sirius since I pay for unlimited data on my phone plan.

Problem is I have that damn tiny 2.5mm jack on my Pearl. I tried a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter but when I plug it in (with earbuds attached) it automatically activates my Voice dial feature! Plus it does not play ANY sound thru the ear buds.

Is there a special adapter I need to get for this to be used with a 3.5mm jack so I can adapt it for my car?

Also, is there a way to channel the audio to a Bluetooth audio adapter? That would be even better than wired!

TXIA!

Review: Seido Headphone adapter for 8100/8800/8830 BlackBerry | BerryReview.com »

Make sure and plug it in in the correct order. Headphone to adapter, adapter to phone, then turn on the player.

Could be a temporary network issue, could be your settings. Try resetting your BB. If it still doesn't work, could you tell me your settings?

I just upgraded to 4.5 for Pandora too and Voice Dialing is activated every time I am trying to type in an artist's name. I don't think it is an adapter problem since I have a 8130 and the 3.5mm headphone jack is standard, and I know its not the VAD button.
