Have you ever try to download a theme/game/application and it not in .ALX ? but in jad/jar ? > Today i was messing around and finally figure it out :-)
need : memory card , google chrome , OTA downloader , a file in jad/jar , and sometime

1. open google chrome
2. Pick a website with OTA download ( I'm gonna pick bPhone -- an iPhone theme for BlackBerry | RogersMJ.com)
3.click download
4. now instead of google chrome prompt you to download the file it will go to a webpage with text only (this is a good sign) and copy the link
5. open OTA download and right click paste then click download
6 now you should have all the file
7.create a new folder the drag all the file in it ( from step 7 on it should be easy)
8. open DM and go to media manager
9.copy and paste that folder into document (or anyfolder you like)
10.disconnect your BB
11.go to media click on the BB key and choose explore , find document ( or the folder you choose)
12. You should see the folder contain all of the OTA file
13.take a look and see which file is the smallest
14.click download ( it not actually download since you don't have a data plan"
15.When it done install , check your new theme/game/apps out
16. Have a nice day

Use winrar to unzip rar which can be found at download.com , google chrome can be found using google

You could use a software call Jar2alx , which will do the same thing

what is a ota downloader? I really need help with the theme u uploaded, I can't seem to make it work.

OTA=Over The Air, as in a direct install onto your berry.

i didn't get it.. i was able to install the skin without all those troubles: i just by sending me the link...
(the theme it's cool, but it works SLOOOOOOOWLY, doesn't it?)

instead: i tried to put on the memory card both a jad and a jar game files..

and when i try to open 'em (goin from media etc..) the installation start, but when it finishes an error message appears and no game can be found all around...

what's the mess?
