Default Folder Redirection only shows Desktp

I recently purchased a Blackberry Storm, after which I contacted my boss and had him add it to our BES. I am able to see all of my sent email and all email that arrives in my inbox, however I cannot see any mail in any other folders.

After researching online for a while I found that I needed to enable the sub-folders by going to the folder redirection menu option and selecting which folders I would like synchronized. However when I go to this menu I do not see any of my folders, all that I see is one item labeled "Desktop".

This option cannot be expanded, selected, or unselected. I contacted the person in our company that manages the BES but he does not know what I need to do to Sync the sub folders. If anybody can help us with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

When your doing this through Desktop Manager and have your Blackberry connected, are you connected on your company network? If needed your BES Admin can choose your folders for you from the BES.

Default I am connecting through Verizons Network to our Companies BES

No I am not connected on the company network, I am connected through Verizon to our Companies BES.

Is there an option on the BES that can be checked that will synchronize all folders and then I choose through the BB device which folders I want to sync and which I want to ignore? If so can somebody give me some directions of how to accomplish this?

We are a small consulting firm and we just barely got all the hardware and software for this, but it seems that I am the only one that is having a problem syncing my sub-folders.

You need to be connected to your company network and have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed on your PC, then connect your Blackberry using the USB cable. Being connected to your company network with DM open it will connect to your BES and from Desktop Manager you can choose the folders you want redirected. The other option is to have your BES Admin do it from the Server for you.

Default Thanks!

sam2500,

Thanks for you input, I installed the application, connected to my office via VPN, and connected the Device to my computer.

After doing this I was able to manage which folders were being replicated.

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me get this working!
