Default Corporate Email Account issue

Our corporate email is sent over a BES. I recently had some issues with some addresses I had entered in my Lotus Address book not showing up in my BB. Our IT guy did something on his end, and the addresses appeared.

However, lots of things changed. The default font size, the default ring tone for the Normal profile, etc... I was able to change all of that back to the way I like it, but now I no longer get audio notifications about new corporate email in my Inbox. I am notified about new email on my Gmail account, and new SMS's...but not my corporate email.

I went to Profiles/Advanced, and I found entries for "Messages ["my BB email address"] and Messages ["my Gmail address"], but that's it.

Is it possible that the new policy my IT guy sent over to my phone has removed my ability to set up audio profiles for my corporate email account?

whew. long message...

thanks for any advice!
