Default blackberry BES recovery

Guys, not sure exactly sure where this belongs, but I have a fairly urgent issue. I have my 8330 Curve on a BES server thru work. I was napping today, and my 2yr old got a hold of my phone. It WAS locked. Now the issue... When I try to unlock the device it says... "Please enter "blackberry" to continue." I would be under the understanding that the password was entered incorrectly 10 times, and the device will wipe itself when I enter the word blackberry. Is there any way to NOT erase the device? I haven't backed it up in quite some time... PLEASE HELP!!
