Default BES-- all contacts erased

My g/f asked me to post here. She used her personal bb (world edition 8830)for her company and they setup her corp. email. Once they set it up, it required a password. She just gave her two weeks notice and they let her go on the spot. The next day all of her contacts were gone (assuming when they took off her email account they did something with her contacts too)?? Her personal email still gets forwarded to her bb though. Here is the question: Is there any way to get these contacts back???? (and no she never used the desktop manager to back up her device).

Also, how can we get the password to turn off? (i tried the options>password>enable but it won't let me switch to disable. There is a red lock beside it and if i hit the menu key, it only says "wipe device", change password, close, etc. Any and all helps is appreciated.

No way of getting contacts back once you are locked out corp BES.

I am not sure what password you are referring too though??

your best bet would be to remove the IT policy now that you're off BES using jl_cmdr.

Please explain. She had vzw do a hard reset, but she still has to enter a password. She is unable to change it to disabled instead of enabled (there is a red lock beside it). She also downgraded her plan to BIS instead of BES. Thanks for the help

Try this and use the reset to factory option.

How-To Wipe with JL_Cmder

Make sure to backup your device because it will be completely wiped.

An alternative would be this but my personal preference is the above.

Remove an I.T. Policy from a BlackBerry...

Let me know if you need help.
