Unfortunately, it seems it can't be fixed - get something better. |

I have owned my pair of S9's for about a year now and run on the treadmill and outdoors and haven't ahd any issues thus far. Don't loose the earbuds though you cant find replacements anywhere. |

Well, UNTIL LAST WEEK.
I decided I'd hook them up to my laptop. NOW, I can't get any of the audio functions when I connect the 8830! Anyone know why this would be? I have tried everything I can think of, and I've seen online, but I can't get any more than HF.
Please help me! | I have the same problem with my 8120 after pairing it with my laptop, to get round it, i turn S9's on and wait for pearl to connect, then turn pearl of and then back on, Then music comes through headphones ok.
hope it helps |

I walk 3 miles in the park in the morning and 3 miles in the after noon with my dogs and find the sound quality outstanding.

| | I just bought this headset even after reading some of the negatives on here about outside use. I am in the woods a lot and like to listen to podcasts or slacker radio. I love the sound quality of these... and I went outside to try and they worked fine. I think in the woods it may do fine because there is plenty for the signal to bounce off of.

| | I tried it with slacker and was unable to get it to restart music, but it works really well with the media player.
Is there some way to make it more comfortable? Mine really hurts my ears after a hour or so. Also it seems like mine turns the volume down after a little while and the only way to go back to full volume is to do it from my storm. I bought it to use with my motorcycle so it need to stay loud. |

| | I am having the same problem 8130 & S9HD works indoors only up to about 10ft from phone and barely 3ft from phone when outdoors. Can anyone recommend a better one??
I found through deep research that the 8130 is not AD2P compatible.
Thanks |

Something about making it harder to hear emergency vehicles. Might want to check your states vehicle code to make sure you won't get shafted by the local boys in blue. |

I have a Verizon 8130 (which I love, BTW) and I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with the headset or my BB. Has anyone else had this problem? | Check the online manual for the S9 on the motorola site and see if your headset acts as indicated in the manual. I picked up what I thought was an S9 on ebay but what I got was a chinese copy. When I went into pairing mode, the Motorola manual says the led will be solid blue, but my manual (and the headset) indicvated pairing mode by alternating blue and red. It also identified itself to the phone as "S9" not "Motorola S9". Although my sound quality was fine, the problem I had was the forward, rewind, and play/stop buttons don't work. The seller tried to tell me it was not supported by my phone, but both RIM and Motorola say otherwise. I finally go the seller to allow me to return it, so it's going back and I will need to find a Genuine S9, or maybe the newer S9-HD.
