Information coming out of CES is indicating that Yahoo!Go will be moving into it's 3rd version at some point tonight, keep checking @ mobile site and desktop version at this link
I just hope that its not laggy and bulky! I thought that 2.0 was kinda junky. I don't use my yahoo email that much any more but Ill down load this to give it a try.
Do you know if they're fixing any bugs? Sometimes I try to get the pictures downloaded and get an error message.
I would sure hope so! I would hate to think that they slaped some new designs and left everything as the same as 2.0 Usally when some one goes from 2.0 to 3.0 its a good upgrade to everything, I hope.
Yahoo hasn't indicated any bug fixes that they have put in place, but I do know for certain the file size is bigger, with some new fatures added to it, like a mapping system and live traffic information (not new to bb, but new to yahoo go)
Hmm tried to download and on the welcome screen to the download the app its says something about welcoming me to the best yahoo experience on my RIM 8130. So I go to the download link right below that and the next page says my pda isn't supported. lol
I tried to download 3.0 but once the download is complete and I try to run the app, it says I don't have an internet connection. Is it because I was using wifi at the time?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
installed 3.0 and uninstalled very soon. 3.0 was slow. I did get the internet connection problem, but a retry got through successfully. 2.0 works better for me.
Im sure when more widgets are made there will be one for fantasy sports, they just released 3.0 today.
They never had one for 2.0, just checking to see if yahoo put one in this build. Otherwise, for everything I could've used yahoo go for, my bb does faster on its own.
so with this update does it mean that websites wont look like a jigsaw puzzle or will that still happen??
I am waiting for my contract to expire next month to get a blackberry. do all the blackberry browsers jumble the webpages or is there a 3rd party app to fix this?
I downloaded Yahoo 3.0 yesterday and I will say that it's way better than 2.0...and if you want to download Opera Mini, pull up Berryreview.com from your browser, they have an OTA link for Opera Mini posted on their website.
There's a reason why Yahoo doesn't let you download it to the 8130 easily. For me it didn't work well, I couldn't use the back key to navigate the screens, it all just felt very awkward and clumsy without it. Beleted!
Pretty good so far, There are a few features missing in some of the widgets especially myspace that one sucks. Overall i like the UI and its not too slow.
