Default New BlackBerry Browser in the Works?!

Though there is some concern that the images below have been faked, the story comes from an inside-RIM employee and the rumor is a New BlackBerry browser is in the works and expected to be available come the fall (probably will appear first on a new device - maybe the Pearl 2??) and then would be available as an OS upgrade to existing berrys.

There should be support for "tabbed browsing", favicon.ico support, search provider functionality (from Google, Yahoo, Dictionary.com,Wikipedia, IMDB) and probably a few other bells and whistles that haven't been mentioned yet.

This should be a welcome upgrade for all the BlackBerry Addicts out there!

That would be great! Although, I'm a little worried about the speed of tabbed browsing.

Your only limited by your resources in the phone. If it runs smooth like the current browser this one will be nice.

Guys... don't hold your breath. The OP was 6/28/07 almost 8 months old. In the OP it also states it should be out in the fall.
