Default RIMarkable, and weather eye app give insight to pluto??

Hey, just looking to update my desktop software and i came across this
WeatherBug For BlackBerry Storm Now Available… For Free

As anyone can tell this is definitely not the storm, but i remember seeing concepts like this drawn up. Possibility this is a hint? im skeptical but you never know haha. Crucial Xtreme you might have more insight into this as well. and i half to thank you for your advice on the blackberry, you don't remember but i had posted awhile back when we were talking about the javelin. I ended up getting the 8820 on rogers and am very happy, so just thought id say thanks well im at it!

Amen! Can't take the rumors so I bought a Bold. Not sure how it can get much better than this!

Well let's really think about this now.

Half Touch-Screen, Half Physical? Well some of us, are digusted with the click (I have to still fix the foreign area issue, but I am happy), and the typing of the click screen made typing slow. But really if you think about it, why have a touch screen on such a small screen. If you think about it the touch screen will be useless. If what you guys are saying is true then there will be a trackball, so there is really no need of the touch screen. Physical keypad, trackball, I seen no real reason for a touch screen. Might as well stick with the Bold, or the Niagara. If you want a touch screen phone, THAT BADLY then get a Storm. With a Niagara, Bold and/or you will not be dissapointed, and don't waste money on a phone that will have a useless feature (The touch screen), since it will be mostly physical.

Just my .02 cents. I saw the Saga (Maybe the sister phone of the Magnum), I wasn't pleased with the extra damn touch screen, if they want a half physical half touch, they should come out with a slider (Like the Palm Pre or the Glyde) or a Flip Touch Physical Phone (Voyager)

the pic i saw of the pluto didn't have a trackball.

slider is supposed to be coming late in the year (probably 2010 given how timing ends up)

the touchscreen is really going to be good for browsing only, and the screen is much bigger on the pic of the pluto (probably a fake pic anyway so who cares).

ill take a niagara.

It will not be useless. Touchscreen navigation is extremely easy. Some people prefer to touch and not click a trackball. Trackballs need to be cleaned and replaced.

Well if what you guys is saying is true, then there are gonna be pretty small keys, and the touch screen is good for navigation I must admit.

Default Touchscreen and keys/trackball makes total sense

Just to put this in, my first smartphone was a Palm Treo 650. Touchscreen and full QWERTY with the navigation button as well. I still use that thing for games with the stylus. It would be awesome on a BB. Not useless like some are saying. Just another option is all.

i personally wouldn't think it to be my first choice, but that's because I've gotten so used to the trackball and one hand navigation with my Curve, so 3G added to that would be all I'd need. Still, I may have to reconsider...

I had that same phone - could only hope that if RIM took the same approach they made it even bigger and better looking
