WHY in God's name would you want a Bold on VZW? They would cripple the heck out of it and it would no longer be the Bold. Which is of course what they do to every device. But its the network! But its a network with nothing but crippled, slow to market devices. Blah blah blah.

Ok-I dropped into this thread late and I haven't read all the posts but why would rim develop a touch-screen curve? Seems rather stupid, IMHO.
Break out the 3g 8900 and call it a day. How you could you improve on that!!!

If Apple crapped out the iPhone, then that's some good looking ****. Want MMS? Jailbreak. Please don't complain about features that can easily be added in 5 minutes. Yes it sucks that it doesn't come with it out of the box, but this no MMS bullshit has been beaten to death. AT&T rips people off every chance they get? Really? My plan is great, I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. Maybe you meant Verizon? Crippling phones is awesome right?

To say the iPhone sucks is just ignorant. It sucks, but it still set the standard in the smartphone industry, that makes sense huh? Just because it isn't for you doesn't mean it sucks. Maybe you just suck at using it, but I enjoy both my iPhone and my Bold equally.

Personally, I don't like the Iphone one bit. But to say it sucks is totally inaccurate and biased at the very least. Same goes for AT&T's service, it's great in some places, bad in others. But show me a carrier who's service isn't.

Exactly. People have this habit with saying things suck because they don't like it. No carrier is perfect, because if one was, than all the others wouldn't exist.

It never ends. Is your head that far up Verizons *** that you can't see that other carriers work better for different people? Does being in the right location mean anything to you?

Just leave it alone avt, theres no telling them otherwise. AT&T has absolutely the worst service in the world and they're the devil also.

I think some people are ignoring the vital importance of EVERY carrier...and that is to breed competition. Its BECAUSE of the other guys that you have the "low" prices you do (yes, they would be higher otherwise). Appreciate your enemies for at least the benefits that you reap from their existence.

I agree. Competition is why we live in this country. Sometimes it's good, sometimes bad but may as well take advantage of the good since non of us are moving out of the US anytime soon.

As a service rep for at&t I wouldnt sell the iphone to my worst enemy. That is the most unreliable phone. Every call I get is my phone isnt working. Im getting dropped calls. I check thier account, and sure enough, they have an iphone. Why would anyone want a phone that att wont insure, a phone everyone wants to steal (y i dont know), and a phone that is unreliable? to me having a cell phone means u have back up in case something happens. with an iphone, u have to hope and pray that is is going to work. not a phone for me. But this forum is about blackberry's not iphones. just wanted to throw my 2 cents in!

And there are users that are having the exact opposite experience. My iPhone works extremely well, thats why I use both my iPhone and my Bold. If the iPhone sucked, I'd say ... and use the Bold exclusively, but that's not the case. Anyways..back on topic.
