like I posted on the front page... curve form factor with Bold like specs... could this REALLY be the so called "Niagara", instead of a "Gemini"
no.
not at all.
and definitely not.
Niagara is CDMA with a Bold/8830-like keyboard, model number 9030.
According to BGR, Gemini is GSM with a Curve-like keyboard, model number 9300.
I'm not sure the two could be any more DIFFERENT
I don't have a whole lot to add to this discussion (especially after CX's comment) other than:
When are we going to start hearing about BlackBerrys with LTE chips?

you could be right... the same way RIM released a 8300, 8320, and an 8330.They may be doing the same with "this" device...
but I'm taking what BGR said with a grain of salt, since the 8830 also had sim/gsm capabilities. And there have been rumours floating around that the replacement for that device, the CDMA bold will have almost a 8900 form factor.
they start gsm. then most get get to cdma. its a mixed blessing because by the time cdma gets them most of the kinks are worked out (plus generally get a slightly beefier version, e.g. verizon curve v att curve).
frankly i would rather wait and get the niagara with a better camera than 2 mp like the bold.

CX, hows the niagara coming along?
Yeah most CDMA phones are better when they come out, instead of the GSM phones. Like you said the Verizon Curve vs. the AT&T Curve. Verizon Curve came out with a higher OS I believe.
Also I don't think CX will speak of anything about unreleased phones. Since everyone was bugging him about betas and a lot of other stuff.
Just thought I would add this link up. This guy had some of the physical specs before BGR came out. Talking about all silver.
Here's a post from Horizon Wireless Online on there...But i have seen it, its silver, plastic around screen is chrome, and the two buttons to the right of the ball, and to the left are bigger like on the bold.
