The moderation team, despite having full-on blackberry addictions and not being paid, still manage to find the time to pry themselves away from their BlackBerries long enough to make sure the forums run smoothly.

The Crack Team greatly appreciates their help and time and devotion to CrackBerry.com.

You'll be seeing their bios and pics here as we get them....

I was born in the 70’s, in London, England, to a hospital cook, and a mechanic. Growing up I really didn’t have the privilege to own ‘gadgets’. But, once I started to work, that was a whole other story...

Since 95’ I’ve owned a mobile of some sort. Whether it be the Motorola 8000, Star Tac, NEC P4, Nokia, Ericsson PH337, (and the list could go on, I just can’t remember them all), thus the ‘gadget man’ was born! I always had to have the latest one, and know everything about it. Of course, friends and family started coming to me before buying a new mobile, or gadgets in general...

Spring forward to 2007; nothing has changed, except I have an addiction now, and it’s only getting worst (8800 BlackBerry is about to be released on T-Mobile!). Over the years I’ve supported various devices on forums, and to top it off, I work in I.T. supporting server's, desktops, laptops, wireless, mobiles, etc, and of course, BlackBerry’s, BIS and BES (still learning my way through that)...

Nonetheless, I'm Naviwilliams...

My addiction to the crackberry started about one year ago. A co-worker of mine had a 7290 and he never put that thing down. I asked him what it was all about, and he filled me in on all the details. I have been through several different models and I'm always looking for the newest one. I have really learned a tremendous amount about the BlackBerry in the last year and I enjoy being able to help others with their questions, and of course, I'm always looking to convert as many people as possible to the crackberry!

Greetings. Glad to be a part of the Mod team. Name is Adam, I'm 29, born and raised a Jersey boy - I have one son Tyler who is 5. I like long walks on the beach, good wine and curling up in front of the fire with a good book. I like anything that takes batteries and has buttons. I've had my BB for about 8 months and I can't believed I ever lived without one. From day one I've been on Crackberry learning everything I could to get the most out of my new toy, and I'm excited to help others out and return the favor.

Your Bio Here?!

CrackBerry.com's moderation team is composed of dedicated BlackBerry-Addicted individuals who volunteer their time to help keep the forums running smooth.

The team grows on a slow and steady basis as the forums dictate the necessity for an increase in help. If you are interested in becoming a moderator, the best thing to do is become an integral part of the CrackBerry.com member community.

We look for members who are loyal (been here for a while - 6 mo. + preferably), are active posters (on the site consistently), and are helpful (post regularly in the help forums with posts that are value-added - it's not about quantity, it's about quality) and know their stuff (demonstrate excellent BB technical knowledge). Forum moderation experience is an asset too.

If this sounds like you and you are interested, you are welcome to throw your name in the CrackBerry hat for consideration to join the mod team in the future. PM an existing mod and let them know. Ya never know, maybe your picture and bio will be here next!

Hello! Everybody calls me by my nickname Garz. I have been happily married for the past ten years. I was born and raised in sunny southern California but now live in the the great city of Las Vegas, NV. I became a BB addict last September when I bought my 8820 and then stumbled across CB a few months later when I was in desperate need for help! I never realized how much a BB can actaully do until I found this site. Now I spend countless hours on CB returning the help that I learned from others.

Glad to be part of the Crack Team!

Chaz from Ohio here. 43 years old, and I think that makes me the oldest member of the team. I bought my first Blackberry in September, 2007 - and Googled for help and found and joined CrackBerry.com in October. Everything I know about BBs, I learned here. This site has been an amazing resource for me, and hope to pay it forward as both Blackberry and CB.com continue to grow.

Howdy all, I have been into technology since the slip-stick days. Back then, packing a slide rule earned me nicknames like Rocket Scientist and Professor.

I first became aware of Micro computers in a '75 Forbes article on Intel. It wasn't too long after that, I bought my first computer, an Altair 8800. Thing of beauty, a box of parts and instructions on soldering thousands of chip pins and connecting wires. Amazingly, it worked the first time I powered it up.

The run up to Y2K brought a lot of work and a sizable staff to handle the work load. I pulled pager duty on New Years Eve. I had been monitoring the change over starting with the New Zealand branch, on to Hong Kong and Japan without any hint of trouble. Still, no hint of trouble through UK and the Eastern branches. Our turn came at last, when the clock finally ticked over, nothing on the pager, a total success.

Of course, our major clients had blown their budgets on the run up, all the hardware was new and purring like a kitten.

That, and the dot com crash of 2000 put pressure to reduce costs. The offer was too good to pass up, I retired.

My investment advisor suggested I could tolerate some risk and pointed me to the up and coming Research In Motion stock.

Of course, I have always kept my options open and stayed abreast of current and developing technology.

BlackBerry didn't have much appeal back in the day, pretty pointless dedicating all the resources needed for my personal e-mail.

Then came Pearl and Curve, BlackBerrys suitable for personal email. Much as I wanted one, the reality of using it in Canada meant paying about $6000 a year for data.

The introduction of the 8320 with Wifi finally meant I could use one without the onerous data charges. The eBay deal was reasonable and I said yes. The same day, I registered and posted on CrackBerry.

Today, I have taken the next step. I have a new Pearl 8120 with a data plan. Not just any plan, I have 6 Gb BIS plan (Thanks Steve) with TalkSpot (UMA). It compares favorably with the best of the unlimited plans our American friends enjoy.

It has been quite a day, tomorrow is looking even better.

PS, the cutie is my daughter, the apple of my eye.

I've been a computer gadget geek since my first programmable calculator, the TI SR52. I even bought the thermal printer! My first computer was a Heathkit Z80 kit with 16kb RAM.

I got my first BlackBerry, a 7250, in 2005. At the time, my employer offered a choice of a 7250 or a Treo. My boss had the Treo, but the BlackBerry service was a little cheaper, so he outfitted the rest of us with 7250's. The 7250 was a workhorse. I never had a moment's trouble with it. In fact, the only time I heard the words "battery pull" was when my boss was using my 7250 to call the Help Desk to find out how to reset his Treo. They had him pull the battery.

The down-side to the 7250 working so well was I never had a reason to Google for help. I didn't discover CrackBerry.com until March of this year, when I had to trade in my 7250 for a Verizon 8830WE. When I discovered the GPS didn't work, I started searching and found the Forums. I joined the same day. I also joined a couple of other forums, but have never posted in them. The CrackBerry forums had everything I was looking for, and more, and was a fascinating community as well.

I'm honored and humbled to be asked to join the Mods team. The CrackBerry forum is a marvelous resource for all of us, and I'll do anything that I can to help.

Hello All,

I'm 24 years old and I have a son, currently 3 years old. I currently live in New Jersey; born and raised in New York. I started with the 8700c back in 2006 and from that point on the addiction begin. I joined Crackberry.com in March of 2008 as this was the first site that came up when I googled a question (but that's nothing new). I am definitely honored to be part of the team.

I am 28 years old and currently an Operations Manager at an insurance company and a Captain/Fire Fighter/First Repsonder. I have always been the go to guy for computer and gadgets questions growing up.... And now working with it everyday in my life it's even better.

Back in 2007 I joined Crackberry.com after getting my first device(8830). I had smart phones in the past and had bad experiences with Windows mobile. So figured I would give a Blackberry a try. Well I am hooked!!! Working on IT and blackberries as a job, Crackberry.com is like a second home to me.

I have never had a better device helping me out on a scene of a crash, fire, or emergency incident where documentation is needed, photos to be taken and having all contact info for official business and the device has never failed me. It's always been there and info is a snap to access.

But with Smart phones becoming ever so popular from normal consumers to IT professional. Crackberry.com is where it's at!!! It just keeps getting better. More devices and OS's, applications everyday! Blackberry does it and does it solid.

Glad to be here and part of the Crackberry team!

Hey Folks!

Pkcable here also known as Rich. I'm 43 and from Philadelphia. I work in IT for the City, and I LOVE computers and Blackberries. I also truly enjoy helping people. Always feel free to PM me.

I have been an avid reader of the CB blogs for a couple years, but it wasn't until the fervor over the BB Storm that I actually joined the Forum part. I joined to talk about the Storm and BBs in general, and I found this wonderful community that I have become a part of, and that I love.

My BB expierence includes having owned a 7290, 8700c and now a Storm. I have also used the Pearl & Curve models. Most of my knowledge beyond what I have gained by using the devices was learned right here at CB. I have an extensive background in Forum moderation too, having moderated for MyP2P Forum, AOL, pogo.com & ATT's ImagiNation Network, among others.

I have finally found a home though!

i'm chrisy. 29 years old and currently living in Florida. i got my first cell phone at 17, after i graduated high school, and took a road trip across the country from Pennsylvania to Arizona. it was issued by AAA. It made calls only. my next phone was an AT&T Nokia 6160 that i could receive SMS on but could not send. i was excited to be able to read SMS! However this phones limitations led me to the Nokia 3650 and Nokia 3620. This is when i discovered Mobile AIM, MMS, Email and wap. i've been hooked ever since!

i got my first blackberry in July 2008. i'm surprised i didn't get one sooner! i'm the type of person that uses just about every feature of the phone! i discovered CrackBerry when i Googled 'free bb ringtones'. i posted questions for a few months as i got to learn how to use it. i use my BlackBerry in place of a pc. i sold my laptop 8 years ago and went totally mobile! It fits my lifestyle.

i enjoy traveling, yoga, meditation, reading, hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, canoeing (i have a waterproof pouch for my bb), rock climbing and nature in general. i prefer the southwest desert! i'm an atheist but i enjoy learning about religions, cosmology, evolution, as well as psychology and some "new agey" things as well! i'm open to learn about anything!

i'm also vegan. vegetarians & vegans

i tend to focus on thread titles, making sure they're in the proper location, duplicate threads/posts, language and signatures. i hope to be able to give back to the CrackBerry community in this way! i'm also open to suggestions, concerns and questions via PM.
