hey Sidlexic, I tell you what I will watch the movie so that I will have a "legit" view. However you can do something for me. I would like for you to find three reputable sources that PROVE that the gradual increase in global temp. is man made and is not linked to thenatural events that have also contributed to the already receding ice age.

Give me a couple days to watch it. Since I am in school most of the day I need to watch in segments.

Do we have a deal???

Man I wish I had the title of the book I came across one day while I was studying for boards last summer.... I'm on your side on this one Madphone.

It was written by a climatologist and his opening statement was something like this, "If I have spent my life studying this issue and have surrounded myself with people who have done the same, and I can't say for certain that the climate is changing, anyone who claims they can predict global climate change is either deceiving you, themselves or both."

I guarantee you that anyone who says they know FOR CERTAIN which direction the climate is headed has either a financial or political interest in their prediction... and some people are just caught up in the "feel-good" idea of doing something to "improve" the well being of the Earth.

I don't know if this is just heresay, but didn't Al Gore get sued for just that?

Not to sure, I just remember hearing that he got sued over Global Warming stuff.

Supposedly he's under house arrest for assaulting a man while screaming:

I never denied the ice age cycle, our emissions are speeding up the process. I suggested you watch the movie because i don't think you know the theory behind global warming. As for the reputable sources, they're in the movie.

btw, even if GW is a hoax, what is so wrong about the idea of cleaning up our planet and our retardedly huge appetite for consuming the worlds limited resources.

...with a cleaner planet, but not with getting people to do it by pushing an idea that they are somehow contributing to the demise of the planet. Making people feel good about a cleaner planet by appealing to their sense of kindnessis better than fear anyday.

I still want three CREDIBLE sources that say that our activities as humans are the great factor in global Warming, and that it is not just a continuation of the evolution of this planet. If I am to watch the movie, which is going to take time I would like from you sources other than the ones in the movie. That is fair right? plus one or both of us just might learn something.
