Did anyone by chance make a Desktop download for this? I can't do OTA due to IT policy.

Going to try and convert it to COD, but never have done it before. Still installing Java SDK....

You can install .jar files locally anyways. Just download it, put it on the phone, and use Media>Menu>Explore.

Blockberry updated to v5.76
* Added support for volume buttons
* "M" key mutes/unmutes the music on keyboard BB's
* Redid the Storm control scheme
* Added a fix for keyboard BB's so that if the screen displays as white, eventualy it will redraw the whole screen.

The game scoring display is cut off on the right hand side of the screen. I encountered this last year on my 8900, and uninstalled, but after reading about the update I tried again. I have downloaded the correct version (9700), uninstalled/reinstalled, and performed several battery pulls. It just never seems to render properly on the display. Is there something I have been doing wrong all this time?

I can't get the sound to work on my Tour. Could it have something to do with the application permissions settings? (I denied a number of things, since I figured the app didn't need access to my personal data, for example.) I tried muting, unmuting, playing with the volume, changing the sound on / sound off setting in the menu ... what am I missing?

(OS 5)

I'm not sure on the sound issue. ive never had a problem with it, but I've also never messed with the permissions. So I would try changing those.

As a side note, you can fix it instantly by just pressing the menu button. The problem is I haven't figured out a way to detect all the popup events (like voicemail message, missed call, etc) for midlets....

I guess my name is SKIP...

I did have this working many moons ago on my 8320, but no joy with my 8900 or my 9700 now. Without any assistance from the developer in getting it to display correctly, I was forced to just delete it. It's no fun playing a game where you cannot see the current scores.

BTW, when I had this problem last year on my 8900, I received no response then as well.

All the best...

I had to reinstall the 9700 emulator, I'll try it out later today.

I don't actively monitor this thread and hadn't really made changes in quite a while, so yeah I could see that getting missed. I recommend using a PM or something in the future, otherwise the thread will probably get buried.

Thank you for the response Sir. Any assistance would be much appreciated, as I very much enjoyed playing this on my old 8320.

OK. NP. I will remember to utilize the PM route for communication with you for the next time. But, hopefully it can be resolved to avoid that anyway.

Unfortunately I am unable to capture a screen shot of this, because I cannot seem to get QuickLaunch to pop up over the game screen.
