1st off, thanks CB! I won SimpleWeather in that contest. My question is, the icon has said "Updating" for 20 minutes, is anyone else having this problem?
Go to Options from your home screen, scroll down to SimpleWeather Options. Open that and set zip code for up to 4 locations. When you save, give it a few minutes and the icon will update.

I have the 8900, when I go to Options, Simpleweather is not there. I did advanced options and it is there but has nowhere for me to put in zip codes.
Could it need me to enable something that it needs to run?
I won also. I've tried everything that has been mentioned here and I'm still getting the message "updating" when I click on the icon. Mine has been updating since last night. Other ideas?

I aslo won the simple weather and also got the error message. I read that it is for usa only and because I am from europe I thought that it will not work for me.
So if the update fixes the bug can I also celebrate with simple weather In austria???
Will it work?
Cheers

I too was a contest winner therefore used the Crackberry app store to claim my winnings. Unfortunately, performing this same process forces me to click "buy" in the app store which in turn asks for $2.99

Just use the OTA link that you were provided. You don't have to go through the store process again.

So far none of the updates have helped me.. I've been trying it since 2.3.0 and I'm running 2.3.3 currently. What providers are the people with this updating issue on?? I'm using at&t.. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I've only heard of it working on VZW I think, or at least just not on at&t yet.
