Default Poynt updated to 1.0.1.68, testers needed!

Hi Folks!

We've updated Poynt to 1.0.1.68. Go to m.mypoynt.com to download it! It is a maintenance build that contains the following fixes:

1. GPS fix for iden users on the NEXTEL network
2. Fixed multiple instances of Poynt showing up in the task switcher
3. Fixed some list behavior on the Storm.

There are a couple other minor fixes that a few users reported as well.

Feel free to use the feedback feature in Poynt to send us all your bugs/opinions/feature requests. We read each and every response, and thus far our user's responses have had a large impact on our development process.

Thanks everyone for your continued interest!

How does this work for Verizon? Since they have their GPS locked to BBMaps only. I think I tried this app a while ago and it didn't get my location close enough for me.

Hi Janx,
If you're upgrading from a 0.9 series version of Poynt, you'll need to delete the older version first.

Poynt uses cell-site locates if GPS isn't available. The accuracy of this will vary depending upon our provider's coverage in your area.

I love the app. I updated to the new version and noticed it no longer defaulted to BB Maps. It gave an error message until I switched it to Google Maps. It works fine with Google Maps but I preferred BB Maps because the reponse time was much faster.

Very nice. My favorite addition is the ability to buy tickets from certain theaters which, I believe was added last release.

On thing I would like to see is the ability to scroll by page using the space bar and once at the end of the list the cursor either stays on the last entry or automatically jumps to the "more" button.

Also, I would not mind a keyboard shortcut to jump to the buttons "Business", "Movies" and "Map It".
