Ok so since the new Blackberry 6 was introduced at wes2010, do u think the Facebook app will be update or its just an app Blackberry have trashed like the devices from 2 years ago.

I read that a minor update is coming in May where they will make data retrieval for facebook smoother by changing how all the information gets downloaded to the facebook app. Then end of 2010, I'm guessing in october, they mentioned they are releasing 2.0 with will have UI changes.

I personally would not worry about it, only a few devices are able to get os 6. 9650 9700 storm 2 the new pearls. So a fb app designed for os6 would not work on os 5.

Wow if that's the case then I might have to dump my bold 9000 or keep this version of the fb app :/ anywho, i'm excited about the storm 3 and what it will have even tho there is no word on a release date or even thoughts about making one. So I won't hold my breath and countdown the days lol

They will probably make the stuff backwards compatible.

I'd imagine we may see a minor update, but I doubt we'll see any UI changes until OS 6 comes out, and the app is changed for the new OS.

So RIM maybe aiming for an "all eyes on OS 6" idk we'll hopefully it won't be that way or else I might have to upgrade even tho I love my Bold 9000 :/
