Smile First Ten things I should do to my new BB

Hi my name is Jeffrey. This is my first Blackberry, it is the Pearl from Verizon. I was wondering what are the first things I should do to it settings wise to make it run it's best.

1. Delete the unused languages, pictures, etc., that you know you won't be using.

...unpack it all, and just sit and look at the 'wonder' of BlackBerry for about five minutes!

Oh, then get:
1. Viigo
2. Beam Berry
3. The respective IM application that you want (Yahoo, AIM, etc)
4. EMpower 's HTML Viewer

Download Google Maps, Setup your e-mail, Setup your ringtones, download Empower, put the Crackberry wap link on your home screen (this should be done first), kiss your blackberry, sync it up with your computer and get familiar with the syncing functions, hug your Blackberry, and download ESPN mobile, and a cool new theme! These are all the cool new things I did when I first got mine! Welcome to the club and feel free to fire away with any ???

i'm not sure if this is the official way..

but i press and hold (say..) 7 and it asks "set speed dial to 7 key?" when you click on yes it brings up your contact list...
