Do you want the actual theme, or just the background image?

You'll need to edit your blackberry.alx file.
First off you need to have the T-Mobile OS loaded on your PC. Once loaded, find the blackberry.alx file. Once found, open the file using WordPad, and look for something similiar to this example (note, this is example only)
<!-- Cingular US filesets -->
<fileset Colour="True" KeyboardType="Qwerty" Java="1.0" series="8800" _vendorID="102">
<files>
This is the theme file, you'll need to edit it and take out the vendorID. It should look like this when done.
<!-- Cingular US filesets -->
<fileset Colour="True" KeyboardType="Qwerty" Java="1.0" series="8800">
<files>
You can do this for all the theme files and hence have all vendor themes unlocked for your use. Then just Save the file. Close all the open files, then open Desktop Manager and it should automatically ask if you want to upgrade. Just click yes and you should be good to go. If it doesn't, you can open the App Loader and do it manually.
Give this a shot, if you get lost, come back here and let us know.

Just to confirm, doing this means the device totally reloads the O.S, correct?
A shame really...

I tested it, and it works! Brilliant Kasperapd, no full O.S. reload needed...

| | Cingular 8800 Wallpaper to T Mobile 8800-Update on 8300
Very Interesting development. I downloaded the Cingular OS as a test so i could follow your example and found that the series="8800|8300" in the script.
This must mean that the new 8300 will have the same look and feel as the 8800. |

More than likely it will have some of the same themes, if not all of them.

| | Copy Cingular 8300 Theme to T Mobile 8320
Below are the instructions you sent to me last year to transfer from Cingular 8800 to T Mobile 8800. I now want to transfer the theme and background from Cingular 8300 to my new T Mobile 8320. Yes i have one today- the store let me have it before monday!!
Can you tell me again how to do. I was a little confused on the TMobile OS on my machine? What do you mean by that? I have 4.2.2 from Cingular loaded currently. Do i need to delete this and load 4.2.2 from T Mobile? thx. Quote:
