Default Handy Tip: Separate your SMSs from Emails

Hi All,

If you want to separate out your SMSs and MMSs from your regular email inbox, just follow the below steps:

1) In the Messages application, bring up the menu and select Options.
2) Select General Options.
3) In the SMS and Email Inboxes field, change the option to Separate and select Save.

I've also put in some screenshots to guide the way!

Probably because of the version of OS that you're running. You might have to install the latest version...

I did that before, but they still show up under the general messages window. How exactly do they separate? Should a new icon be on the display window?

I know this has probably been asked a million times but I tried doing a search and I couldn't find what I was looking for. Can I install OS 4.2 on my 8703e BB? I really need a "step by step" instruction. I have D/L the New 4.2.2.12 Desktop manager but not the software on the phone itself. My present software on my BB is v4.1.0.352 (Platform 2.2.0165). Am I even making any sence? Lol... Basically what I am asking, is it possible to upgrade the actual software on my BB?

4.2 OS has not and will not be released for 8703e and from what I'm hearing, they are going to discontinue that model soon.
