So they're discreet buttons? I was hoping that it would be a continous flat panel with pressure sensitive areas like the buttons on the front of the Atrix. It's a much cleaner look and one less place for dirt to collect.
Now that looks hot. I like it! I agree with JohnEnglish though. They should have had a flat panel, not separated buttons. Maybe this is a slightly different variant?
I've said this before in a previous thread, but this phone looks too lanky (narrow). It's a nice screen, but it's just too long and seems like there's possible wasted screen real estate on the sides.
And thumbs down for physical buttons, much less four of them now. As JohnEnglish mentioned that's just more places for dust to collect.
I like the physical buttons too, for the tactile feedback. I also didn't realize it had a trackpad, I just assumed it was like the Storm. Seems the best of both worlds, especially for selecting text and things.

Where's the photos everyone is viewing to be able to comment? Please advise; send a link if possible. Are you folks on about the new Bold Touch or the Storm3. I got confused when you mentioned the buttons; but I guess you can be referring to the one's that appear on the screen?? Please advise.

You have to switch to the full version of forum (exit the mobile view) in order to see the attachements.
it looked like the 9900 was pretty smooth so they can't be far from having the OS ready for this one. Seems almost easier to get it ready for just touch screen.
