Looks good so far, no memory leak that I can see.

But I seem to have lost the ability to move menu/app icons into different positions or create folders and group them that way.

Ignore that, it's a theme problem. Though I don't remember it there with V3. I'll reload the theme

Search the forums. You will find that there are some CODs you could load over any hybrid/os to have it provide east asian language support..

    Hi there,

I have .448 on my Bold 9700 at the minute and have replaced the files as per your instructions. How do I then go about applying the updates to my phone?

    Thanks

    Amazing Kyle..
Everything greats.. I've never seen this good battery life before and a maximum of just 5MB of memory leaks.
    Thanks a ton Kyle.

Thanks Kyle. Always hesitant towards hybrids but Yours re always of good quality. Just dropped on top of my own 448 and only removed BBM. (I do not use BBM)

    Everything seems to run great.

I have tried most of those cods and they do enable East Asian character support, but only viewing, not input.

    Nope, as the OP says:
(...)-have base OS6 .448 for 9700 installed on pc(...)
so it is only for 9700

When I run Application Loader Wizard, the second entry under Device Application Selection is "BTHM OS6 .448 V2 2.0.0 Core Applications"

    Is this an expected result?

Well, that's good news! I went ahead with the install and everything top-drawer so far. GPS lock even seems to be sped up on this one.

i will upload the changed CODs so that way you or anyone else who is interested in giving it a shot could do so at your own risk. I only support the 9700 officially but have come to realise that because of how i make my hybrids that they are able to work on the 9780 and 9300 phones also

its actually supposed to say v4 but I forgot to change it, but yes it is supposed to be there and its an indication that you are indeed running the hybrid os

Everything's running smoothly so far, except for a bit of a memory leak. Though, I think the culprit might be the new AIM app that I'm trying out, and my increased use of the music app since my iPod is on the DL for now.

However, for the life of me, I cannot rid myself of this notice whenever I do a battery pull or reboot:

    Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor(0x70170be9d2fc292) timeout

Anyone here have any ideas where it's coming from or how to get rid of it?
