Title says it - 6.x.x.436(450-466) for 9650, with optional 6.1 install.

THIS HAS TO BE INSTALLED OVER .431. Please do a fresh .431 install - you don't need to delete the vendor.xml, the installer takes care of that for you.

The installer is a little big (140mb), because I had to include all the .436 files that under normal circumstances would be in the OS folder. Blame Altel for releasing it only OTA or on DM for Altel customers.

If you want to run the hybrid with the 6.1 files, you have to run the installer twice. That was the easiest way for me to set it up.

This hybrid should be installed over .431,because the .466 radio SUCKS. Sorry, but it's true. If you try to install this over .466, I'm almost certain it'll brick.
It contains 150 or so 436 files (the base), a couple hundred 466 files, three or so .450 files (to replace incompatible .466 files), and optionally 149 6.1 files.

The installer will optionally launch BB Boss to shrink, and will launch loader.exe after you close the installer too. And as mentioned, the installer will cripple Verizon's vendor file.

If anyone has any questions post up.
Remember that I only test on 9650s - most of my hybrids could possibly work on other devices, but this one probably won't. Feel free to try it tho
The 6.1 files will certainly work on other phones though, confirmed on 9330, 9700, and 9300.

Oh, if you're running a third party theme, your theme options won't restore. Not my fault, sorry. Email RIM about it.
Same goes with BBM groups not restoring - if that happens, please email RIM, I personally am sick of my BBM groups not restoring (although they did restore this time).

Again thanks to OpenSourceBB.com for providing hosting (awesome site for sharing your BlackBerry downloads - NO WAREZ. Is it ok to recommend other BlackBerry sites on CrackBery?) Also thanks to everyone who beta tested this - you guys saved everyone from non-working video cameras, VAD, and voice recorders (and got me the .436 files).
If you want to join the test team, pin or PM me. Especially if you want to learn more about hybrid building yourself.

Download link: 6.x(i).x.436(450-466) for 9650 - make sure to download the right one, 6.x(i).x.436(450-466) for 9650.

    Enjoy everyone.

Update: New installer uploaded, same download link. The new build is called 6.x(i).x.436-or-443(450-466).exe - I may have to think of a new way to name my hybrids lol, that ones is overly long.

I combined this hybrid and the .443 hybrid, because the only difference between the two is that this one contains .436 files (which were needed because .436 still isn't available to everyone from Altel).
I also updated to the bbm, twitter, and facebook which were leaked yesterday. If you don't want those files, you can run the installer a second time and restore the old versions (.12 for twitter, .46 for BBM, and .26 for facebooK).

Just so everyone knows, I was getting bad battery life on the 443 build so I "downgraded" to this one and I feel like this one gets superior performance.

    Enjoy guys

After the installer runs will it run again on its own or do we close the installer after the shrink pops up and then run the installer again? Im confused, lol...

Yes, run it the first time all the way, then close it out. Run again for the 6.1 files then shrink and load it up. Hope this helps.

Do you know if this will have the same SMS issues as 466 did?

Edit: sorry, responded wrong. The SMS bug does not exist in this build. That issue was caused by the 466 radio, and this uses the radio from 398/431/436.
Side note: you'll probably lose all messages you received while on 466. I did anyway.

    1. Does this have the browser WiFi fix?

    2. What are the improvements with the 6.1 files?

Yes , what underway asked and also regarding the 6.1 files are they the same group that was in your 431/448/450 hybrid? Thanks.

What browser wifi fix are you refering to?
6.1 files are the same as in the 466 hybrid.
I personally don't think the 6.1 files will be much benefit (or any detriment), I'm not running them (although I did test them). Some people like to have them, so I included them as an option.

Except for 466, every OS6 installation that I've loaded has had an intermittant issue with the browser failing to connect to the data network over WiFi. Normally, you just have to resend and all works. That bug is fixed with 466. Several days ago, I tried to load the 466 browser onto my 431 installation with no success. I suppose that my question here is if you were able to isolate the 466 browser files for this hybrid?

I haven't experienced that... Or I haven't noticed it anyway.
I don't think that's an issue with the cods, sounds more like a radio issue that's fixed in 466.
Yeah, 466 and 431 have some incompatibilities.
If I run into any wifi data issues I'll mess around some with the browser/wifi cods. It's possible that the 466 wifi cods I used will fix your issue I suppose.

A full 466 Java swap over the 443 doesn't work. It loads, but gets stuck on the welcome set up screen.

Thanks Steven. You trying that other build in db? Specially since I already made you brick - sorry bout that.
If not I'm gonna give it a shot right now

I just tried it and got a white screen after loading.

Don't worry about the bricking, it's the third time this week for me, kind of like it. lol

Disregard the last post. It loaded fine. I installed the one without the 6.1 files.

Excellent! I'm gonna load it up, make sure everything is working, and then compile it - if the non 6.1 build works, guaranteed the 6.1 version will.
    You need an invite?

Thanks, I don't need an invite. All my groups loaded but one and it wasn't the hybrid group.

Shane, thanks for all your hard work on all of these hybrids. This one to me seems to work the best on my phone. I have been getting really good battery life with this. Newer isn't always better, right. THanks again,

I know what hes talking about.

While connected to wifi, there will be a good 10 seconds where you randomly cant connect to the internet. (I notice it happens mostly when you are posting something on CB mobile.)
    its really irritating.

Battery life was bad on day one.
    lets hope today is better,
