it's just that, I'm planning to get a playbook however being able to use skype or something similar(which would be mac compatible) is important in my case.

anyone out there who has one can perhaps guide me to what would be the best to use? otherwise I'd might have to go with iPad2

Skype with video is coming, but not at launch i think. atleast i saw on a video of a RIM guy demoing infront of an audience


also, Skype on iPad2 won't do you much good either

There is no telling what video conferencing apps will be available within the next months.

No mention of Skype since CES back in January. I sure hope they come out with Skype for PB as the BB video app doesn't sound like it's going to be cross-platform.
