I typed up a quick but detailed tutorial which will show anyone interested how to download flash games from across the web and save them to their Blackberry Playbook for access at a later time/offline.
In this Guide I will show you how to save flash games from virtually any flash game site and play them locally on your Playbook whenever you want!

First, browse to File 2 HD
Second, take the link of your Flash game. We will test this with Magic Touch
As you can see I took the full website URL where the game is played.
Paste that in the File2HD text input area, agree to Terms of Service, and make sure Objects is selected. Now click Get Files.
You might have a few SWF files returned. Select either by holding down on them and selecting "Save Link As"
Now choose a file name and Save.
    Here's the fun part.
Open a new tab and type in File: and load it.
    Go to > Accounts > 1000 > Shared > Downloads
Find the swf file you just saved and select it.
It will open your game in the browser. Bookmark the game and add it to Homescreen.
Now you can load it whenever you want and play offline!
As you can see with the Magic Touch game I made sure before hand to test it and make sure it's fully responsive to touch. If the game is not then it is pointless to download it.
You can play in Portrait and Landscape now

this has been around for a while. we should keep it up or sticky it. i'm telling you.. ragdoll cannon 4.. 3.. and dummy never fails are not to be missed. run great locally. google em and git em! you may have to look around for em as some swfs are misleading, so i cn try2 help if needed.
    try this. lemme know.

    Same thing lol
I've seen it around the boards a few times, thought it was deserving of an actual dedicated topic.

Except that you don't have to go to a different site to save the swf file. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Where it says filter, choose objects. you'll probably see a link or two to your swf. sometimes it works, sometimes you get a totally random other game.

It's pretty simple. If you already have your swf file there is no reason to go to file2hd.com simply hold down on the link (like you would to copy/paste) and choose "save link as"
and to get to the swf file just type file: and follow the rest of the instructions.

I used file2hd.com and saved the link as angry-birds-flash.swf. Then I opened a new browser tab and entered file:
I followed it in to the download folder. When I click on the file it says

    Unknown Network Error, Couldn't read a file://file

anyone know where I went wrong?
