I have the leaked version installed, tried updating to this official one but it wont let me as its the same version number...

Sure it is
I've put this in my 9300 and is running **** fast! Startup takes 50% less time (having same qtty of apps installed).
I've had no memory leaks yet, and all goes smoothly

Problems
The only problem I had was sms icon gone (dissapeared): delete all sms messages from messages app (seach by type) and do a battery pull. problem solved

Yes, install OS, delete vendor.xml, and leave this exe do the rest

I really don't know what i'm missing (compared to the older versions and even compared to the OS5) because i bought my Curve 9300 4 days ago, and even without having the data plan i upgraded the OS! hehe.

So, what is good and what is bad on this release?

I have a problem with the installation. When I try to update it tells me it failed and one or more modules couldnt get transferred. I deleted vendor.xml

What did I do wrong?

Well, nobody answered me, but i had my time to test the OS6, seems pretty good'a.

The only problem i've had so far was with WhatsApp Messenger (but that's another story) WebKit browser is really good, i got used to it in 2 days haha. Go for it, latest version is really awesome.

Battery last (for me) at least 2 and a half days i'm not an abuser.. BB Msn, Interwebz, Mail, some calls, and WhatsApp.

hey guys and gals. im a newbie 2 the site...anyway i have the curve 9300 3g from tmobile i downloaded os 6.o earlier today after they emailed me the site to dL it anyway i played with it all day and i couldnt find any mms option only send email or sms. then i learned that you cant dial from home screen according to tmobile techs>
well let me clarify on the home screen dialing under the time stamp ,u have the profile option to adjust the medium loud change ringtone etc then if u start to type a phone # u cannot see what u are dialing ...tmobile actually apologized to me and said to revert back to 5.0 they had no answer the only way to dial from home screen is to hit green talk key first and it brings u to the open call log and u can dial from there and its a decent size.. i personally wasnt happy @ all has anyone had any bad experiences with os6.0.....???

i have updated my bb before to os 6 but getting alotx problem ..
currently am on default OS of curve 9300 and am happy, but am missing that visual effects .. please tell me if i install this version will it will be same as default i mean with out any problems .??

I have a Blackberry Curve 3g 8530 by boost, and according to the specs the 9300 and the 8530 have the same RAM and performance so does that mean that 6.0 will run on my 8530? And is this for all carriers?

So, I did the upgrade! Lemme tell ya'll, I am SO happy I did it! It runs SO much smoother, so much faster and I love how organized it is...its a little tough to get used to at first (at least for me), but what a world of difference upgrading makes! Pages load faster on the native browser and its easier to navigate. Just a couple of problems I'm having...opera mini isn't working like it should...I keep getting a lot of page errors from them not loading and also facebook is being weird. When I try to scroll down to see what people have posted, it scrolls so fast that I can't read and then the darn cursor doesn't show up and its annoying. I don't know if these issues are related to the upgrade or not, but they were not prominent before it! all in all, I'm super impressed with os6 and would recommend it to anyone that can upgrade to it!
