Anyone know if there is a case available for the Torch? Seems like it might be difficult to make one for a slide phone. Didn't see one from otterbox. maybe too early?

Usually it takes a couple of months after the phone hits the market before the "boatload" of cases hit the street. I figure it will come with a leather pouch or something along those lines when it is released.

if you saw pictures from the press event companies like casemate and otterbox already had cases made for it, so they would hopefully be out at the same time or soon thereafter.

I went to the ATT store trying to get a torch early....wasnt successful, but they did have the otterbox case for the torch there....only had 2 on rack...which is odd since the phone is not for sale....but the think was $40......i actually did some comparison last nite..... the torch dimensions wise is very close to the 9650. I might get a 9650 holster to hold me over until a good reasonable one is available.

My local AT&T store has some 3rd party cases, screen protectors (both anit-glare and privacy) and the Otterbox on display. They will do until others come out.

Ive already spent $50 and still haven't found the right case for my torch. Does anyone have the Otterbox case? Is it bulky? I bought another case from ATT store that looked like the OtterBox but was horrible. I had to use to hands to slide phone up and down. If you have ottherbox please give us your opinion and post pics!

I am not a real big fan of the otterbox. I got one a few weeks ago and the fragile front cover broke. I did drop it twice, but they were minor drops. My brother got one too and his also broke in the same way that mine did. I don't know if he dropped his.
The front part of the case stays on the phone by gripping the top and bottom of the sliding part of the phone. It is a very weak connection, especially to top part of the front portion of the case. There is very little material and it doesn't take much to break it.
Some of the other cases that I have seen also grip the sides of the front sliding part of the phone. I think you may want to look at those.
To be fair, this looks like a hard phone to cover and I have read similar complaints about the Casemate products.
