Default www.moodio.fm - free streaming music

I know lots of others have asked this question like me wondering if there was any free streaming radio for BB and now i've found one. It's pretty easy and simple. You just go to Moodio... streaming radio on your mobile phone! and create a profile and add stations to your profile then login on your phone to m.moodio.fm and pick one of the stations you added to your profile. Simple and free.

Nice thread... I am checking it out as well. Will report back with an opinion!

*EDIT* : Seems like a nice concept... and a great find NIU! I am not currently needing a streaming radio app, so I am not going to go through the registration process. But it seems cool

There's no app needed. It uses the BB native media player. But i found out it only works on BB's with OS 4.5.

I got sick of waiting for RIM to release the official 4.5 so i'm using the 4.5.0.46 beta. I'd recommend it to you. I haven't had any problems.

The other cool thing about moodio is if you have a favorite local radio station and they also play online you can add their url to moodio and then have your local station playing on your BB. Pretty cool. You can add any online radio station to moodio. The music (and talk) opportunities are endless.

finally a site that we can stream on. it defintely works. however, there isnt much of a variety of genres to choose from. IT IS, a start though, and too many commercials. great job finding this one.

I'm running 4.3 on my 8130. I get an error while trying load. Won't stream any stations.

They have a BBC stream on the site. It's under the "Talk" category.

You said you've been using it for two weeks now, have you had issues with it at all? I dunno why, but sometimes when i go to open up a new stream my phone does a soft reset and restarts. It probably has something to do with the built-in bb media player and it crashes it every now and then for some reason. It's kind of weird.
