Pointless. Most phones now adays require data plans, per say. If you don't have 1 on another phone it just charges you through the noses when you go online. And I think BIS is pretty useful, secure & fast.

I think the title of this thread is kind of unuseful. Be more specific when starting a new thread.
By the way, BIS isn't that expensive, so if you got a Blackberry without a BIS plan, they're cheap to get and there are even prepaid SIM for Blackberry now.

BIS is excellent. I don't like it when people say something is crappy without a data plan. Why pay $$$$$$$$$ per use? :\

All smartphones require a data plan. BIS data plans are the same price as a plan for any other brand of device.
