[Reply] The best way to show them there IS a need/want for a BB app is to let them know. I did just this a week or so ago. I emailed asking if there was an app (knowing there wasn't one) and got a reply the next day saying that no there was not but that my request would be noted.
It's such a simple thing to do a quick email to let them know we DO want a BB app and there IS a large userbase that would use it. I have free Sirius with my new Jeep but it will expire this winter I will likely not subscribe, having pandora would be tight!

[Reply] I just wrote them a very kind email saying there are tons of us berry addicts out there who would be quite thrilled to have Pandora on our BB's. Maybe if enough of us write them, they will go for it! So get typing! lol

[Reply] Bump: Your exactly right, if we don't tell them...they won't know!
My luck it won't work on the verizon network but I'm in for the cause anyway!

[Reply] Well folks, unless they are giving me lip service, there seems to be some hope in the near future =). I'm just hoping that Pandora will support my 8320 and work with a WiFi-only connection before the new year. Maybe it could be a Christmas present to BlackBerry users? Here is an email I sent:

Do Pandora currently support BlackBerry phones? If not, why? Thanks.
Hello John
Each version of Pandora software for a portable device needs to be separately developed. Software for PDA devices like Blackberrys require extensive testing before they can be certified by the carriers. Unfortunately that means delays before Pandora will be available on them. We are working on it. I don't know how long it will be. I hope not too long.
Thanks for writing. We love feedback and we read absolutely everything!

[Reply] I would be inclined to believe it. It seems everyone who has sent an email has received the courtesy of a reply back in a short amount of time AND from a real person. This alone says they care about their service and users.

[Reply] Here is a post from the Pandora blog regarding Blackberry support...I can't post URLs yet, but if you google "pandora blackberry" it's the second hit after this thread.

Hey Shaun -
I don't have an ETA for Pandora on the Blackberry, sorry. We'll get it live as soon as we can!

[Reply] Well, at least I have Pandora through my Samsung Bluray player, but man, I'm dying for it on my Curve.

[Reply] i wrote pandora and requested a blackberry app - they replied in like 20 mins

[Reply] I wrote pandora when I first got my Curve and they wrote back right away, but I have never seen or receive any type of projected timeframe or even a real confirmation that an application is in the works.

Wow, they think that 21 million subscriber base is too small a target (that doesn't count in the others that buy it just for wifi only)

Yeah, sure. Every BB app is certified by the carrier

:-)
that was a BS answer they gave you. Even Google Maps is not certified by most (if any) carriers. Hopefully they release it soon, though

[Reply] I second moodio.fm.
I just read about it on this thread, went to the site, added a few sites, changed quality to max (52k/s stereo aac) and then browse to the mobile site.
Easy and good quality.
