sigh.... and there is a spanish version of the exact same content...
I really expected those who has used ICQ, hotmail, any other similar programs or email service would already know how to spot these instead of passing it on....
Yeah I know.. These things are so ********.. BBM doesn't use accounts anyway, so even if people don't know the CEO or stuff like that, they shouldn't be stupid and think BBM uses accounts.
It's easy enough for people to do this that there's no way the CEO would mention in that way. You'd see on crackberry and on the front page of every newspaper and as a message as soon as you open BBM if something like this ACTUALLY happened, so I always ignore messages to [general population].
Just as others said, I read it and the first thing which was "Jim Balsamic" I was so confused...I thought to myself who on earth is this "Balsamic" guy??
Atleast if your starting an idiotic BBM spam/chain mail - why not get the basic information right ?
Doesn't matter if the information contained in chain mails is correct or not. You could post one that says radiation from cellphones makes people grow 3 heads, and people would still forward it (and of course grow 3 heads in the process)...
"I did not want to send this ....
Sorry for the bc they **** me off too but my pics won't update! If Your display pic won't change , it's because 'Blackberry' is updating , please send this message to all your contact so yours can be updated. BB.pic.32315589.XIC

You would at least think they could spell Jim Balsillie's name correctly if they are going to try to pull off such a hoax, but then again most people probably don't know or know of RIM's co-CEO and could not spell his name correctly anyway.
