    Hey guys,

I found a 2d barcode scanner that you guys can download OTA, go to ScanLife from your blackberry browser and its pretty straight forward from there. some models arent listed to good luck with that and hopefully it works.

not sure if this has been posted but if it wasnt

    Cheers and enjoy

Its working for me. Download the 8350 if you have the storm. Then go to settings make sure the scan is enabled then disable compatibility and it should work fine. If you wanna click scan you gotta click a little left to the icon

It lets you look up information embedded in certain ads, and it allows you to read bar codes embedded with contact info (an electronic business card).

I installed the 8320 version of ScanLife on my 8520 - couldn't get it to read the barcodes, maybe because the quality of the pics that the camera on the 8520 makes is so bad

Why not just use a QR Code barcode like the ones used in BBM? It's public domain now. The patent holder waived its rights to protect it. Everyone with BBM 5.0 can scan it.
