Default Protip3: Take that fart cannon off your civc...women hate it.

Who wants to ride around in a lawnmower all day? Get off your ***...save some cash and get a real car. It looks so bad to ride a lawnmower and get outran by a mini-van.

OH!
If your rims cost more than the car (doesn't apply if you rebuilt the car) or your spoiler is larger than the windshield you are going to get trix. While trix are by definition are female due to plumbing differences...they aren't women.

Please...take the fart cannon off. If you want noise, get real muscle.

Nothing screams tool like a whining exhaust and glued on scoops (other than giant spoilers)

Don't f with the guy next to you (me) on a bike. I have 1800cc VTX. That's the size of some car motors, just a heck of a lot lighter. And they think they can take it because they have an aftermarket air intake and exhaust. See ya *****. Tools, I love dusting em.

OK, I have to ask... where do you draw the line on this?

Is a stock motor with an aftermarket muffler welded on wrong, but a swapped motor and a Greddy PE2 full catback and headers ok? What makes it ok... the sound?, it cost more?, it's a cleaner install? Just wondering where you guys are going with this.

Let me give you an example of when someone shouldn't laugh too much. Was in a car with a friend a few years back and he had a POS 95 Civic CX hatch with a K20 swap in it and stupid loud exhaust on it. Up came your general V8 American asshat laughing at the lawnmower exhaust and............... got walked about 5 time in a row from a standstill, roll, high-speed roll, etc. Just couldn't catch the "Riced Out" lawnmower as he called it. Did the Civic look good at the time, no... was it fast... ya!

So, it's all in perspective here. There will always be gearheads and posers.... and your average American Muscle driver mullethead.... which are you?

I use to be a Honda guy and I had a few in my days. My most recent had a few bolt ons and some goodies. I like the clean look. If youve never been in or driven a 12 second honda your missing out. Nothing like a civic hatch with a nice swap and turbo.

My wife refers to those ginormous spoilers as pushbars for the baby carriage.

heres the last honda I owned. I did all the work myself. Had many bolt ons and it was a pretty quick civic.

It is possible to build them up nice. There are SO many on the road though that are just a mess of AutoZone and Schmucks bolt-ons (and stick-ons) it's not even funny.

I would never put any of that crap on my cars. I always buy the best I can get my hands on. I had a few freinds that own speed shops so I always had access to whatever I wanted. I spent a grand on my exhaust system for my civic and I didnt regret spending that much. I probably had well over $5000 in parts on my car. I hated to get rid of it but I just outgrew it.

The one you posted looks nice. So, you didn't just take a torch to your springs then? LOL! I had the first Civic Coupe ('93) and didn't do anything to it except add a trailer hitch to tow my tiny boat and put in a decent stereo. Only kept it two years though and decided I wanted something a little bigger and more comfy.
