8900 / 4.6.1.174 and bbm .55


no spell check.



From what I'm seeing on this forum, it's gone on all OS's under 5.0. Everyone with 5.0 seems to have spell check.

so the trend, correct me if i'm wrong, is that everyone on anything less than 5.0 OS has lost spell check? all 6 phones i installed .55 on were 5.0 os's and they all kept spell check. and skimming through here and other posts, everyone saying they've lost it aren't on 5.0.

I have an 8900 running OS 5.0.0.411 with BBM 5.0.0.55.

I still have both Spell Check & Auto Correction! Everything is fine for me as far as I can tell!

But, my friend has a Tour 9630 (running latest Verizon 4.7.1 OS) and I had her upgrade to BBM 5.0.0.55 and she no longer has Spell Check!

I have two tours running 4.7.1.61 with the new BBM. Both have the SAME setting and languages and only one of them gets spellcheck. WTF!!!!
I tried it all, wipe BBM, battery pull, download from rim, download from app world and still no fix for one of my Tours.
***So there is a way to have spellcheck with an OS lower than 5.0***
