New app world update today. Came up on my wifes phone. The old 2.0 is still coming up on my app world and blackberry.com though. Anybody have it and know of any differences?

Notice there is a Scan a Bar code option when u hit the menu key.

Other then that seems the same to me.

im pretty sure wifi works now> when i opened it, i was propted to go on wifi, as my plan wont let me use it on the network.

if the new version is not showing up go into app world & do ALT RST

ALT RST? What's that?

Inside App World press ALT and type RST. It will close app world and will free up some of old programs that you have uninstalled that still show up.

I downloaded and installed it yesterday.

Unfortunately it only works via cellphone network and not via Wifi.

I uninstalled and re-installed the previous version. That one still worked with WiFi.

Does anyone of you experience this, too or is it just me?

I'm back at 2.0.0.38 also because it only works if you are connected to a cellphone network and not wifi.

Had it in my inbox this morning, and yep, it deleted my uninstalled apps on My World and its a little snappier than the old one. Aside from that, hadn't notice anything else.

I've had the same problem so I have gone back to 2.0.0.38. Hopefully they sort it out soon.

How do you install the new version? I have a mac so I can't download any apps or anything on my computer so I have to do it on my phone.

I haven't notice the wifi/cellphone network issue, but I don't remember having to always type in a password everytime. I may experiment rolling back as far as I need to unless there is a way to have it store your password.

Since the release of Appworld 2.0 I have not been able to save my password.

I have not noticed wifi/bis access problems so can't comment on that

I installed this and 2 hours later deleted it. It heated up my Bold 9650 (on OS6) during phone calls. So buh bye crappy app world.

I didn't see much except there is an auto-currency conversion to buy apps. It was previously in USD, now I have it in my local currency in Malaysia (Malaysian Ringgit, MYR).
