I can't believe that crappy Verizon decided they won't be getting the Pre. Its gonna be a big mistake for them.

Just gonna have to wait this one out. No way to know who is telling the truth.

Palm Pre still a possibility on Verizon

I'm sure he appreciates you making his mind up for him, since he'll think exactly the same way you do.

Anyway, there really is a lot of uncertainty. The cell phone industry is a funny thing, and we may yet see the Pre come to Verizon...or perhaps another Palm device in the future.

As for getting it activated on Verizon's network, I'm not sure. That might be something worth looking into over at PreCentral. They're pretty knowledgeable over there, much more Pre-centric, and filled with a lot less cross-platform snarkiness.

It's not really going to hurt Verizon, it's going to hurt Palm.

Vzw has not favored newer phones. There was a write-up about them not getting newer phones due to lack of performance.

Looks like VZW may be getting an updated version of the Pre as well. Can't wait for this device to hit VZW shelves.
