i called 2 seperate times today, and both times i was told business customers had to go through their sales rep to order the 9700 right now.

thats incorrect. I just spoke with our business rep. They are only selling the 9700 today for new customers. Nov 16 everyone else will be able to get it

I've already talked with our T-Mobile Retail Store here in WA, and they told me that they just got confirmaton from their store manager that they will be receiving 70 devices on Nov 16th. I guess they are pushing the dates back because of the amounts that the stores ordered because he told me that when the 8900s came out, they only had 20 in stock, and by the end of the day, they were SOLD out

just spoke to another contact at tmo business, the 9700 is available today to business customers...even upgrades. i was told to email my rep and he will take care of it when he gets back tomorrow from vacation. he mentioned something about "FAM", apparatly thats dept my rep needs to go through to get this processed.

My husband thinks I have totally lost touch with reality as I am having him check in Philly daily since absolutely nothing ever gets to Savannah when it does anywhere else. Well, I have an upgrade that was given to me under t-mobile by going through 9 defective 8900 devices, so I am going to call them up today to see if they will let me get the upgrade, and if they do, then w00t. if not FML cause I would have to wait until the release date.

i called them last night and they confirmed business lines get them today. i called this morning coz i have a business line anyway but i wasn't able to get it because its not time for my upgrade yet. I've gone thru 6 8900's and i was hoping they would give me the 9700 when it comes out. what did you tell them to make them give you an upgrade to the 9700?? i think 6 would have been enough trouble for them to let me upgrade to a device with a trackpad coz this whole time my one and only problem with the 8900 is my trackball getting stuck
