    with bbm open, press the bb menu button, and select scan a group barcode

    that is if you have bbm 5

    Go into BBM select "Invite Contact" and pick second option "Scan a persons barcode"

    I did a little home work and found out that AT&T and Sprint blackberry phones have that barcode scan feature. Does anybody know why T-Mobile doesn't have that feature?

    Anyone using BBM 5.0 should have the scan option ,.. anyone still running older version of bbm will not.

    That isn't possible as the feature does not exist yet.
