    Hey all,

Thought some of you may like to see what the 9700 looks like with the Seidio combo. The case does have the cutouts for the corner contacts, which means Seidio will have a charger compatible with the phone inside the case in the near future.

    Here ya go.

Innocase II. The 360 covers the keyboard too with a rubber overlay = fugly.

Thanks. I had a Seidio hard case for my Curve but let my 9000 sometimes go commando living to regret it. The only thing about cases is that you have to take them off to use the OEM charging pod or buy the Seidio charging pod. I have the OEM pod already at the office and home.

    Is it a top/bottom snap-together rather than a front/back?

The case that comes with the phone fits it rather snugly, but has elastic side panels, so it might fit. I have a horizontal Seidio leather holster that i used with my Curve 8310 with an innocase... I expect that it will fit the 9700 w/ case just as well.

The compatible charging pod will be available in 5 days, so I guess it's time to pre-order

I've had an innocase on my old curve 8310 for nearly two years. With the case off, it looks brand spankin' new

    Yes, it's a top/bottom snap/slide together.

It does, actually. It's a bit snug at first, meaning that you may slide the top portion of the Seidio case off and then have to take the phone out separately until the holster stretches out, but it does fit.

Slightly, yes. My Curve 8900 got two VERY small marks on the bottom chrome from the Seidio sliding on and off all the time, but it's minor.

    Maybe I will get one

    +1

the innocase II for the 9700 doesn't fit as well as the 8900 version. 50/50 Split not so good as it compromises the rigidity of the case. It will still protect the phone though. I just dropped my 9700 yesterday from about 4ft onto a wood floor and not even a cratch so I guess it is all good. Just a little disappointed with Seidio on this one.
