... I really like never having to scroll to the left or right.
May I suggest opera 4.2 and mobile view? That's what I use so I don't have to scroll left or right. Just up/down by either using the number 2/8 keys or g/h or trackpad. I use majority of opera 4.2 cuz of this fast browsing and scrolling. I don't like scrolling left/right with mouse keys and that's y I don't use opera beta 2, bbrowser or bolt. Too much time consuming for scrolling.

That's y I use opera 4.2 most of the time. And use either opera beta 2, bbrowser, bolt ocassional to copy links address or access banking site, youtube site, etc.

Opera mini is my favorite. Its the fastest, accurate page rendering and I like its zoom feature. Bolt has so much potential but a few issues really hurt it. Bolt is very buggy, caused a restart and I constantly have to close and reopen the program to get it to work. Also lack of a zoom just by clicking the trackpad is a negative. Bolt also needs tabbed browsing. I'm hoping that rimms new webkit browser is like bolt with these issues resolved.

The default browser is good on mobile sites, but way too slow on full sites.

I haven't had any luck with opera mini or bolt. Which is contradictory to many peoples experiences with each browser. The OE browser works just fine for me, however.

I use all three, but waiting for webkit browser.

BlackBerry browser is fine, mostly with wifi but sometimes you will need something more desktop like browser. I tried Opera Mini, but beta was slow, and I decided to use BOLT. Its nice but Opera Mini 5.1 is really great. It works really fast on my 8900 Curve with EDGE connection. Now I will switch to 9700 so speed will increase...

BOLT is better to scroll but Opera is faster. Use all three, test and decide on your own needs.

    More infos about Webkit Browser?

Opera is good, but you can't keep it running too long, or else it'll lag the phone...

Actually, I searched this very question today because, even though there are few options, I want to use whichever is best. I'm not ready to go to leaked 6.0 so, even though I'm new to the party, this question is pertinent to me.

But I just read through three of these threads and am amazed at how different everyone's experiences and opinions are! I know we all use our browsers for different things but it seems like a split, about 1/3 each for the native, Bolt and Opera. I guess I should try out the latter two. My main complaint with BB's is that it is slow, but that's probably due to my coverage and won't be helped by another browser. (It also seems kinda...clunky? like I'll click and the screen will refresh but not to magnify?)

Anyway, thank you everyone for your input and I will read more if it comes along.

Yep, only way to really know is to try each one.

I use Opera5 the most, but freezes up from time to time, if not then native with java-script off to speed it up.

I did hear the new version of Bolt is good too.

Use to be a big fan of Opera. Now that I'm running BB6, the native browser and Bolt are my top picks.

The 9650 version of uZard is much improved for use on the 9700. Great to have when you need to view flash content.

There's so few, really no reason why you shouldn't give them all a shot.

What are you the forum police?

The OP asked a general question about what users thought was the best browser, in which, I answered with my option.

A bunch of people start deleting files from a new leaked OS they know nothing about and acts surprised when there's bugs and memory leaks...bit@hs on Crackberry about how the OS sucks and scares everyone else away from trying it out....

Download the leak and install it 'as is' - I bet you'll be surprised.

OS5- Anything besides the native browser lol (Opera, Bolt, Uzard)

OS6- Definitely the new webkit browser. It's so good that I haven't felt the need to install any other

Yep, and loving it. There's even a thread about how to download it on a T-Mobile 9700.
