Default Storm apps work on Storm 2?

Question about Storm apps. In looking around I notice there are a lot apps for the Storm. When the Storm 2 is finally released will the apps that are available for the current Storm work on the Storm 2?

Pretty sure the Apps are somewhat OS specific. So if the Storm 2 releases with 5.0 and apps don't work on 5.0 OS, they wont work. No matter if it's from the first Storm.

Correct. If it works under 5.0, it will work in either device, which is nice.

Think of the phone as a PC. A Pentium 4 PC running XP can run the same software as a XP PC with a Core 2 Duo processor, one is just faster than the other.

Can't say for sure, but I think most will work fine, just not as fast as if it were written for 5.0. Just like most apps written back in the win 98 days still run on XP today.

If you can't afford the insurance, you should buy a cheaper phone.
